Dear Wild Slings’ Friends,
As I continue my journey with this no-cotton collection, I want to introduce You to a new piece of art. The inspiration behind this particular piece is marjoram - a well-known, incredibly fragrant herb known both in cooking and for its medical value. The main colour for this wrap is a muted, olive green that makes the base of the design. It’s decorated with beautiful embroidings of jellyfish, starfish, seahorses and other sea life. The colour scheme creates an unique counterposition, and this particular shade of green takes a gold sheen to it in the sunlight. This makes this wrap a sure stand-out for the upcoming autumn months.
The base for this wrap is yet again eucalyptus, interwoven with tussah silk, merino wool, and yak. This particular blend of fabrics is one of the best combinations You could use for Your child - it is sure to make them feel safe and comfortable. Wraps mixed with merino wool and yak yarn are also perfect for the weather in warmer places. They have thermoregulatory properties, so the baby doesn’t overheat, and thanks to the whole mix, the wrap is extremely airy.
