Dear Wild Slings' Friends,
I am proud to present you the newest wrap in the “La dentelle de la reine Anne” pattern, which I gave the colors of the fruit called the Queen of the Night. Sweet fruit that blooms only at night inspired me to weave this unusual wrap. I also decided to weave only 10 pieces of this beauty to emphasize its uniqueness.
 
I remember when I tasted Dragon Fruit for the first time, it turned my head with its sweetness and juiciness. My senses literally went crazy as its combination with the other ingredients in a summer dessert captured the wonderful summer evening I spent with my family. This aromatic cactus fruit stuck in my memory because it is one of the most beautiful fruits that Mother Earth produces into the world. Since I practice my mindfulness, I try to focus my attention on details, savor the moment, thanks to which every moment seems to last forever, and small, little things and pleasures are finally duly appreciated by me.
The mere observation of the world around me makes me feel like an inseparable part of it, a little cog in all, most of its parts. Just like every stone in a fruit, a mole on the shoulder of a loved one or a cheerful, colorful silk numb in a material that wraps your child to sleep. Focusing my attention on details, even for one moment, gives me a lot of happiness. It unifies, combines, helps to understand the meaning. Stop the heartbeat for a moment and be moved by the trifles. And finally - our happiness consists of everyday life embellished with unimaginably beautiful moments that remain in our memory forever. The first smile of a child, a ray of sunshine that finds our skin after a rainy day or the sight of a fruit so beautiful that it inspires you to weave one of the most beautiful pink wrap the world has ever seen.
 
This wrap is extremely load-bearing and durable, and at the same time it delights with its beauty. The intense pink of the wrap is intertwined with multi-colored threads of mint -orange -white tussah, creating a charming mosaic of numbs, so beloved by me. The flower and insect motifs decorating the wrap emphasize its uniqueness, and with their intense blackness they create a timelessly beautiful contrast that catches the eye and delights.
