Dear Wild Slings' Friends,
I am proud to present to you the return of my spectacular "Dragon" pattern - a hand-drawn dragon, depicted as on an old medieval flag waving in the wind, encouraging us to fight for love and peace for our families. Legends about dragons have been influencing the human imagination for centuries, you can read about them in ancient, Persian, Norse and Far Eastern mythology. Dragons are dignified and strong, but respectful and caring towards their relatives. It is the power of wild nature and magic, combined with legendary wisdom and beauty.
 
These mysterious, intriguing and beautiful creatures represent the forces of nature and the four elements, they are a symbol of authority and power. They are an allegory of knowledge, wisdom, vigilance and caring - qualities that for me are also attributes of a loving parent. That is why I decided to weave a wrap inspired by this amazing creature, because we as parents represent many dragon traits every day. We provide a sense of security and shelter under our wings. Like dragons - we hide a huge amount of firmness as well as an endless amount of delicacy and love. We always support our children, cuddle them to sleep, and nothing is strong enough to hold us back as we fight for their welfare.

"Dragon l'arbre" I have woven from delightful bottle green and black cotton and my favorite tussah silk, which is famous for its enveloping properties. Soft and strong tussah creates a mosaic full of wonderfully soft numbs on the wrap. Thanks to this mixture, the wrap works perfectly, tightens well and looks phenomenal all the time. It is perfect both for the first reeling of a newborn and for carrying older children - it is load-bearing and roomy, and when carrying a child in it, we hardly feel its weight, because the material creates elastic cushions on our shoulders that absorb the weight.
