Dear Wild Slings' Friends,
The wrap that I am presenting to you today will take you to a magical night during which every wish is coming true. Believing in little miracles warms our hearts and fills us with hope that we are surrounded by energy that makes our life even more wonderful.
 
I always wait with excitement for the night of shooting stars, and although now I’m not taking this very serious, the magic of this event reminds me of my childhood, when I watched this spectacle for the first time. I remember a dark summer night and a starry night sky. The depths of the navy blue sky seemed endless as I was away from the city lights, on a dirt road surrounded by grain fields. The blowing wind made the grain sing with its beautiful song. The hum of the wobbly ears of grain is a beautiful melody for my soul. Imagine how beautiful scene it was, surrounded by nature and pure happiness. I remember them to this day, the warm air, the rustle of grain and the dark blue sky full of stars that were about to fulfill my wishes at any moment. I really don't remember now what was my wish because I was a child then, but I'm sure that by collecting memories like these, parents are giving their children a great gift. A feeling of closeness with the family, unity with nature, and faith in miracles.
 
Now you know why I called my new wrap La libellule - nuit d'étoiles filantes. It is strewn with mustard ears of grain with azure dragonflies flying among them. The navy blue background of the wrap reminds me of that beautiful, magical night. The wrap is intertwined with the mint tussach making it even more beautiful thanks to the wonderful silk numbs. I woved this wrap from cotton and my favorite tussah silk, which is famous for its enveloping qualities and is soft and strong at the same time. Thanks to this mixture, the wrap works perfectly, tightens well and looks phenomenal all the time. This wrap combines everything that I appreciate in my projects - exceptional softness, flexibility and unique design. It is perfect both for the first reeling of a newborn and for carrying older children - it is load-bearing and roomy, and when carrying a child in it, we almost do not feel its weight, because the material creates elastic cushions on our shoulders that absorb the weight.
